who knows that wild card entry girl Bani won the title of india's no.1 dancing show. The Darling Bahu of Television, Prachi Desai is back to her dancing best, in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
Prachi, seen as the sari-clad bahu of 'Kkasam Se', surprised the entire nation with her dancing skills and became the favourite of the judges too.

A twist in the tale came when the public voted her out and she was eliminated from the show earlier on despite being the best performer.

However, she re-entered with the help of a wild card.

Not only that, Ekta Kapoor, a tough taskmaster, granted her just four days' break from 'Kkasam Se' to prepare for the 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' finals.

Ekta, however, refused the same kindness to Jay, who plays the main lead in her serial 'Kayamath'.

Last-minute dramatic changes in the verdict are nothing new.

Last year, Shweta Salve was the judges' and the viewers' favourite and a sure-shot winner. But it was Mona Singh who walked away with the first prize.

Another last-minute change took place when Shweta was selected as the female anchor, but it was 'Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin' Mona Singh who showed up with Rohit Roy.

While Mona is still looking for her big break in Bollywood, Prachi has already got it. She has been signed opposite Farhan Akhtar for 'Rock On'.

For the grand finale, not only did the other nine eliminated couples perform, veteran star Jeetendra shook a leg too. The audience went berserk when he hit the dance floor and performed to some of his hit numbers.

Her comeback performance as a Wild Card Entry simply rocked, and the judges, contestants and the live audience were left wanting for more. ]

Hot television babe Prachi Desai has been signed as Farhan Akhtar’s leading lady in Rock On.

The actress who plays Bani in Kasamh Se says about the role, “I am very happy to start my career in Bollywood with such a big film. I play the female lead. The offer was so good that I just had to say yes. Farhan is fantastic and it is a great opportunity to be able to work with him. I am lucky to be chosen for the film.”

The film will be directed by Abhishek Kapoor and produced by Farhan and Ritesh Sidhwani.

No it’s not about the song.It’s about the dance show on Sony Entertainment Television.It’s an interesting concept indeed where they couple a choreographer/dancer with a star from the T.V. or from the film industry and sometimes even cricketers and chef’s like Ajay Jadeja and Sanjeev Kapoor respectively.It’s very much inspired from Star One’s Nach Baliye which also has it’s sequel Nach Baliye 2 starting this September the 25th.But that was basically a couple show where they have popular celebrity couples dancing.Sachin and Supriya won it last year and seeing the promo’s of this year,it promises some good dancing and entertainment.Not to forget Parmeet Sethi and Archana Puran Singh who were probably the best after Sachin and Supriya last year are now anchoring Jhalak Dikhlaja and doing a pretty good job.Out of the participants in Jhalak Dikhlaja,Mahesh Manjrekar (the crazy actor and director) has been the most consisten along with his good looking and awesome dancing partner Sonia Jaffer.The second and well actually hunting for the first place has been the hot and sensual Shveta Salve along with her partner Longi.They seem to do something new and nice everytime.Also looking good are Akassh Deep Sehgal (Of the Ansh from Kyunki.. fame) and partner Bindi and Mona Singh (yes,your plane jane Jassi has been rocking the dance floor).Rati Agnihotri,the old lady of them all has been knocked out and master chef Sanjeev Kapoor is probably gonna be the next to follow.Ajay Jadeja too has been giving an average performance probably because he’s not really been able to gel with his partner.So he’s in danger too unless he can do something really impressive.The judges for the show are ace choreographer Farah Khan,ace director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and ace dancer Shilpa Shetty.Together they make helluva panel of judges.

The grand finale witnessed a variety of performances by the judges, the hosts - Mona and Rohit, all the eliminated contestants, along with a dance number by the choreographers. Sandhya, Prachi and Jai gave the audiences wonderful solo treats as well. Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, who were the celebrity judges for the day announced the winner, thus ending the evening on a great note for the young Balaji girl.

It sure looks like the wild card entry proved to be lucky for Prachi. With this, do we know the host for next season’s Jhalak Dikhla Jaa as well? Well, its too early to say anything. As of now, wishing Prachi Desai the very best for her victory.

Ekta Kapoor's Kuch Is Tarah signals a change of timing in SET prime time band. This modern Balaji love story will start airing at 9 pm from 26th November. As a result, Amber Dhara has been pushed to the 9.30 pm slot. According to Albert Almeida, Executive Vice President & Business Head, Sony Entertainment Television, "This has been done to strengthen the unique twins show".

Correspondingly, Virrudh which occupied the 9.30 pm slot has now been shifted to the 10 pm slot. So now we will have two family drama at the same time slot produced by the ex Tulsi, Smriti Irani, i.e. Viruddh on SET and Mera Apne on 9X. Almeida, admitted that "Durgesh Nandini(10 pm) which ended yesterday had failed to attract the viewers. We had made her character too aggressive, hence she alienated herself from the viewers".

In a bid to face new competition (9X NDTV imagine and Zee Next), the channel is gearing up to launch 4 more week day fiction shows in the coming months . Almeida, also said, "Wait for some major news on week end front as well". Will Big Boss return? "Yes, It might happen next year", says Albert Almeida.
