After the brouhaha Rakhi Sawant created about the alleged rigging of results on STAR Plus' dance show 'Nach Baliye 3' and her questioning the 'role' of Ekta Kapoor and Balaji Telefilms in the final result, Balaji has decided to drop Rakhi from their first awards function on Jan 25 that is likely to be held at Dubai.
When asked, Ekta told IANS: 'I wouldn't really know the details of the show since they are being handled by Bunty Wallia and the Moranis. But yes, if my company has taken a policy decision, I am with them.'
'Rakhi was being offered a place in our first awards function. No, she wasn't going to dance but she was going to host one segment of the show. But after she has been making wild and totally unfounded allegations against Ekta, accusing her of favouring Aamir and Sanjida, Balaji has decided to drop Rakhi from their awards function,' said a Balaji source.
Ekta's awards function is likely to be held in Dubai. According to sources, Shah Rukh Khan has finally said yes to a performance at what promises to be one of the biggest live events.
Shah Rukh will be accompanied by none other than the Balaji breakaway bahu Smriti Irani.
'The idea is to set aside all rancour, to disprove stories about the ill-will generated by our actors who move out of Balaji. So it isn't just Smriti who's being invited to perform, we are also asking Iqbal Khan and Rajiv Khandelwal to join us on Jan 25,' said the source.
While the Moranis will be organising Shah Rukh's performance, the rest of the event will be handled by Bunty Walia's company.

Before leaving for Goa on Sunday Ekta kapoor told us why Goa was a favourite destination; “I'm heading to Goa as most of my close friends are going to be there. Hi, i really love ur dramas and especially the drama Kayamath. I wanted to know if Milind and Prachi will ever be together or not? Everytime they get close they always end up being apart again. I just really want to see them together because they make a great couple. It is kinda annoying because i never miss a episode of that drama and i watch it to see them together and to tell eachother that they love eachother, but i always end up seeing them being separated. I mean will they ever get together or will they always remain this way?

Another mistake is taken placed in this story that when woman is expect with child, if her husband died or divoice in Islam even iddat period is completed she can not have another Nikah until the child is born. The reason is woman goes through very emotional and hardship positions during her pregnancy she is not allow to take more pressure on her mind and neither more responsibility until the birth. Also woman is well off financially or well provided enough food and shelter by the ex- husband until she finish breast feeding her child new born, she can remain unmarried. She is allowed to be married if she wish to be married that is not prohibited either by Islam.

My name is Ronita Ghosh. Presently i m working wid IBM-Daksh, Mumbai. I v shifted my base to mumbai 1 & a half years ago with a dream to join the glamour world. I can not say that I am a fan of Indian dramas, but I do not have a choice. When I lay down in bed my wife wins and usually has Kasam Se on. I have to say in the drama Mr Walia says he has no children left and so on. What about his kid with Pyia? What happened to her and her kid? This Bani has a 5 year old kid, but she talks like she is 10. Her other kids were about the same age were they not? She was with that other dancing with the star character for 5 years and then she came back. Her kids were 5 years old, how the hell can her latest child talk to differently than her other children. I dont understand. Are people in India really that dumb.......I just dont get it. Every night I go to sleep ****** off because of the unrealistic points of the story. Why cant you make dramas a little more realistic? So far these two ( Mr Walia and Bani) have been seperated for a total of ten years, but neither one of them has aged...well except for Mr walia......Tell that guy to stop eating. Any real person would move on after ten years of B.S. Tell me how come no one can ever hear this evil sister of his. It seems that she can scream her plans througout the house without anyone hearing it, but if a "good" character whispers something she is the first one to hear their plans. I am not trying to pick on your dramas in particular as all the other ones my wife watches are even more outrageous. Will there ever be a drama that is more realistic as American dramas are? I know you guys in India can see our American dramas so why cant you guys take a clue and step in to the 21st centrury?

Striving in the Arts, film, animation and also theatre
I am a film and art lover. I admire all kinds of films and TV seriels from all over the world, inluding france, japan, and india. Despite the fact that these industries are striving in the Arts, film, animation and also theatre, I have to say that in every industry you get people that completely ruin the experience for all critics and watchers alike. Ms. Ekta Kapoor probably leads the the board, when it comes to untalented, uncreative and over-rated people that have a bundle of money and make the same repetitive things with the SAME sound effects over and over again.
Don't get me wrong, people do watch her shows, but after carefully speaking to a few people, I have learned that they are just looking to spend the evening watching a show from their country and in their language, rather then appreciate what a complete art debaucle it is. But I have to give her some type of credit as she still manages to carry on making these completely ridiculous shows with almost similar plots and direction. I mean many people I have met have comically agreed that the seriel is shot as 15 minutes and the rest is expanded in slow-motions, and ridiculous character zooms.
I have not sent this "feedback" to complaint, but to suggest that should, in any case this message ever reach Ms. Ekta Kapoor, which I doubt it will, then she should take this advice and go for some serious Film Making course. It will be beneficial to her, specially as the first thing she will learn is in over 90% of films released till date, zooms are never used, the only time they are used are on rare occasions. Not once every 2 minutes as her shows so majestically portray.

'kyunki saas bhi kabi bahuti' and 'kahiin to hoga' tryin to guess what happens next
i live in the uk and it is such a delight to see women's work receiving awards and being aired on tv. ekta is an inspiration to all. her work is imaginative and informative but still contains lots of unexpected twists and turns. me and my family spend all our evenings watching her dramas such as 'kyunki saas bhi kabi bahuti' and 'kahiin to hoga' tryin to guess what happens next. u can never tell because miss kapoor's imagination is unpredictable.
i have heard several rumours about her dramas 'kesar' and 'k street pali hill'. it is a good move for her to get rid of kesar because she has explored all of the possible motivations with the characters she cant continue the storyline anymore.
however i think that k street pali hill is a master peice of work. the characters and storyline is fantastic. it would be a real shame if this drama ended. the rumours of Ronak being the killer and the storyline built around this is poor and it would really be a shame if the serial ended with ronak is vansh's killer. vansh should come back and prove that his death has his own conspiracy to catch GK and bikram. then pallavi should come back and the storyline should be that ronak is in love with pallavi and together they conspired to kill vansh becus he was a fraud, to continue the story.
it would be a real shame if k street pali hill ended so if anyone knows how to contact Ekta or anyway we can stop such a serial from being taken away please get intouch with me. lets save k street pali hill or atleast convinve ekta to make mish/ishita/pallavi/some else vansh's killer so that k mansion lives on.

Sanjeeda Sheikh, aka Nimmo of ‘ Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka’, Ayesha in the Balaji’s soap ‘ Kayamath’ win nach baliye 3
after prachi this time for the ekta antoher discovery sanjeeda sheikha won the title ncah baliye3 what a artist in the ekta kapoopr camp. rakhi sawat just nothing in front of sanjeedha who is so good dancer and very very decent girl whom all india and other countries people voted lot.
Salman finally declared the winner’s name, and Rakhi could not believe her ears that it was in fact, Jodi No.7 Sanjeeda-n-Aamir who had won the title, and the drama queen decided to keep her eyes shut.
Aamir and Sanjeeda vroomed away in their Chevrolet with their moms; a perfect ride that they would remember for a lifetime.
The selection was fair and the best, the critics are advised to accept this fair game.
Prachi Desai, well poular by the name of Bani in Kasam Se, won the Sony Tv’s popular celebrity dance show ‘Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa’ after defeating the other two finalists Sandhya Mridul and Jay Bhanushali on 15 Dec. rightly and fairly.
She is being criticised by certain quarters that the result is not fair, they thought it would have gone to Sandhya Mridul. Their grounds do not seem to be justified, it is the public which is the final Judge and the cricits must respect the public opinion.
Prachi, in fact, was not selected since she claimed to be daughter-in-law of the State as the critics feel but also due to her super performance, being the most befitting figure for the dance she chose and exhibited, and also due to her movements, which were dazzling. and simply amazing. It was not possible for anyone else to beat her.
Moreover, she enjoyed much more popularity due to her serial Kasam Se and that was also the main reason of her being voted by the public in view of her best performance before the audience.
It is to remind that after getting eliminated, Prachi managed to enter the dance competition again through ‘Wild Card Entry Call’ and she thanked the audience for her come back.
The young, ravishing Bani of Kasam Se impressed the jury as well as the viewers through her powerful performances.
She got the highest votes, and declared as the winner Of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa-2.
The judges including Shiamak Davar and Urmila Matondkar seemed to favor Sandhya Mridul, but Prachi won the ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’ title thanks to audience votes.
Prachi entered into the Hindi serials when she was just 17 years old.
This ‘Balaji girl’ has now started receiving offers from Bollywood. She also confirmed about her debut movie with director Farhan Akhtar.
Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, the celebrity judges of the day, declared winner’s name and presented the trophy amidst fanfare.
Now, Prachi is back to her work.

Deepak brought out the best in Prachi and she danced her heart out.
If the janta in India are using their hard earned money to send an sms for whom they think is deserving, I think that is and should really be the bottom line because it's people's respective hard earned money. Clearly the Indian public found Prachi to be deserving and that is all that matters. Apparently even the judges, based on their marks found her at par with Sandhya since there was only a one point gap.
Prachi, congratulations! You have proved what you're capable of on the dance floor. And even though people were nasty to you, I must say you've reacted with alot of grace and class! Hats off!

She has always come across as very arrogant and cheap, when I saw her for the first time in Aashirwaad-I had thought the role demanded this look, but soon I realised she just has it in her own personality-she is just too haughty, cold and arrogant. Even during her dancing she had this scowl/frown on her face. PRACHI IS A TRUE WINNER. Prachi always looked like she was enjoying herself, her facial expressions always matched her enthusiastic dancing. So this is what we the audience saw in her, not just that she is the Bani from Kasam se. So for Sandhya and some of the others to harp on this is just nonsense and frustration, anger and a case of sour grapes for not winning.
So Sandhya snap out of this false thought process and accept that Prachi is definitely a much better dancer, performer, more talented and good looker too. SHE JUST HAS IT ALL, OK !!. And it comes across to ONE AND ALL. No wonder she has bagged the heroine's role with Farhan Akhtar in ROCK ON. Next you will say again she is getting all this because she is known as Bani.
Take a good llok at yourself in the mirror Ms Sandhya Mridul. Granted our looks are God given, but what is inside of us and what really matters is DEFINITELY WITHIN OUR OWN GRASP.

Ekta's equation with her stars doesn't matter to me after losing sandhya said this statement.
we dont know why losers change their attitute. everyone knows there is no comparion between prachi and sandhya. prachi has lot of fans right now and her kasam se is superhit. but we dont know why sandya is saying this I had done Koshish years back and I have been offered K-soaps regularly. I agree with her to some extent. Television is a very powerful medium and allows immense connectivity with the audience. I was a very powerful daughter-in-law in Koshish. But at the same time public memory is very short. Prachi would not be half as popular when Kasamh Se goes off air. Besides, agreeing to Ekta Kapoor doesn’t mean you will see me acting in a Balaji Telefilms show again.

I am not affected by rumours; in fact, they make me more determined. I share a very healthy relationship with both the channel and the production house. I attended the post event party, where Urmila Matondkar had brought a cake for me. I am happy that I have walked away with respect and dignity.

I have no problem with the television medium, but I doubt if you will ever see me in a soap again. I just had my first live dance show and am still quite excited about it. I plan to take a two-week break very soon and I will decide my future projects once I am back in January.

Ekta celebrated the Prachi Desai's party with the sucess of her 2 serials.
This time the code dress for the party is PINK and most of the stars are in pink tag.The dress code was pink, and 90 per cent of Ekta’s guests diligently obeyed. ketaki and rasik dave her husband danced all the night.anuj saxena came for few minutes because he had to go europe for the tour.
Stuck to one another like glue were Narayani Shastri, sporting a different hairdo and a short skirt and Gaurav Chopraa. Shweta Kawaatra and Manav Gohil were present too; whoever said they had differences with Ekta’s production house?
Walking in almost towards the end were Suniel and Mana Shetty. Surprise faces included Neelam and Manish Malhotra. Brother Tusshar Kapoor was there too. Eijaz Khan and girlfriend Anita, Hiten Tejwani and Gauri Pradhan, Naman Shaw, Suvarna Jha, Sandeep Rajora and Yash and Gouri Tonk were among the other guests having a good time. Ekta Kapoor is angry with Pulkit Samrat and fire a case against him
Kyuki Saas bhi kabhi bahu thi Lakshya comes in limelight after Ekta kapoor gave him chance.
But now he is set to quit the serial without finishing his promises. These type of artist never run for long time and there is no place for the these kind of artist in balaji camp. He is breaking the contract according to the contract he had to do certain no. of episodes or give notice before leaving the serial.

Ekta Kapoor joins hands with Star India to launch entertainment channels in regional languages
With the pie of Hindi entertainment channels puffing out now, Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms is taking a detour to enter the telecast business. It is taking the local lane in the company of Star India. Though it is not yet clear as to how many regional channels will this joint venture will finally lead to, but the first one to be churned out from this understanding is a Telugu entertainment channel. Yash Khanna, spokesperson for Star India, says the channel will be launched by this year-end.
"We have just announced this joint venture. The company is not fully functional yet. We have not even decided on the COO. Once that is done, we will draw out plans as to how many channels will be started and in which languages," says Khanna. As of now, the venture will concentrate on starting channels in South India. "Channels in Kannada, Malayalam and other key regional languages will be launched within the next two to three years". The joint venture will be headquartered in Chennai.
Also, Khanna says, "So far, Balaji Telefilms hasn't contributed much to the content of our existing Tamil channel, Star Vijay. But now, it will start producing a good quantity of regional content for it. This will be a part of the channel's revamp." The production house has been making soaps like Pavitrabandhanam, Kalisunder Ra, Kulla Villaku and Kavyanjali in languages like Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
On asked about whether Balaji Telefilms' popular Hindi serials on Star Plus like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, Kkusum etc, will be dubbed for these upcoming channels, Khanna says, "There might be some of them but we will try to put original content made in local languages as much as we can, particularly in prime time." Also, dubbed shows don't have a successful track record, he points out. "They usually don't do too well. We had dubbed Kaun Banega Crorepati on Star Vijay," he says.
With the advertisement pie now fast extending to the regional language channels, and with only ETV as a major private player across regions, it no doubt is a timely move.

"After three duds as a producer (`Kyunkii Main Jhooth Nahin Bolta,' `Kuchh To Hai' and `Krishna Cottage'), I finally have a hit on my hands, never mind a raunchy hit, as I'm constantly reminded. I'm not ashamed or apologetic about `Kya Kool...' It was always meant to be a sex comedy. Audiences couldn't have gone to it thinking it was a mythological [film]."
Now Ekta really warms up to the topic. "And how come we giggle and chuckle at the off-colour humour in `American Pie,' but faint in horror at the same in a Hindi film?"

Ekta Kapoor’s blue-eyed boy: Naman Shaw
Ram Kapoor can't keep his hands off co-actor Naman Shaw . Is it a cheap publicity stunt or has he really emerged from the closet?
The story so far goes that Ram Kapoor, aka Jai Walia, who plays the lead role in Ekta Kapoor's Kasamh Se, is happily married to actress Gautami Gadgil . But now suddenly Ram is going all out to show off his physical and emotional attraction towards his fellow actor of Kasamh Se, Naman Shaw.
Ram is very demonstrative about his feelings for the young actor . “I can't keep my hands off Naman . He's an attractive boy with a great arse, ” he asserts.
In fact the duo even posed for a photograph for us when we asked . “Every time I see Naman perform well I feel like giving him a hug . I repeat, he has the best arse ever . I've yet to come across a more attractive man than him ,” says Ram.
Both men admit that they are “extremely close” . "Ram is very fond of me,” says Naman, adding that Ram is his friend, philosopher and guide. “There is a strong bond between us . When I started shooting for Kasamh Se I didn't know Ram at all and was apprehensive about how we'd get along. But within a few weeks we started talking and soon became the best of friends. ”
Naman adds that his senior is very protective about him . “He really looks after me. If I'm made to work too long hours, he makes it a point to talk to the scheduler. He also gives me tips to improve my dialogue delivery and expressions. He has taught me to be a controlled actor,” he says.
Obviously, their co-actors insinuate that the two are more than just friends . Naman says that he isn't perturbed about other people's impressions about their closeness . “I can't define my relationship with Ram. What others feel about us is their problem,” he says.
Playing snooker on Ram's laptop and filming video clips on their camera phones are some of the things that they love doing together . They even have their meals together . “We're like a family,” smiles Naman. No doubt!
