Industry buzz is to be believed, Vishesh Films upcoming release SHOWBIZ has one of its principal characters being modeled on Ekta Kapoor.
SHOWBIZ, as the name suggests, explores the underbelly of media world, especially what goes behind catching hold of breaking news. In the film, Gulshan Grover enacts the role of a media baron who lives by the principal - 'Use, misuse, abuse - but get me breaking news!'
Due to sheer aggression that this character demonstrates in order to get the top TRPs, Gulshan Grover is said to have modeled his character on television world's numero uno maker - Ekta Kapoor.
Marking the debut of Tushar Jalota, SHOWBIZ is a Mukesh Bhatt film which releases all over on 28th December.
